Dear Climate Trackers,

What a week. Sometimes it’s hard to know whether to laugh or to cry.

Climate change has dominated our political airspace here in Australia all week. But not for any good reasons. Check the latest blog from our Aussie Negotiator Tracker Phil: “Australian Climate Policy Paralysis”

But it’s not all bad news. President Obama is heading to the Copenhagen global climate summit, Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao will be there, and so will Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Being a part of the Adopt A Negotiator project is your chance to track and influence the global climate summit. By reading and most importantly commenting on our blogs you will be letting the Australian negotiating team and our Prime Minister Rudd know that you want an agreement for strong binding action on climate change, not excuses and empty promises.

Now is the time to help us get Adopt A Negotiator, and the role that ordinary Australians can play from the comfort of their own computers, out there!

·         Invite your friends, family, colleagues, girlfriend’s cousin’s dog to sign up to this google group so they too can get regular news from our Climate Insider in Copenhagen.

·         Help us go viral – link to Adopt A Negotiator on your blog, post us up on Facebook or tweet us up.

·         Everyone knows that a picture tells a thousand words, so start writing novels by getting our short, funky and informative Youtube clips and Flickr shots out there.

Tracking for you (and feeling a wee bit sorry for Malcolm this week).

Phil & Cara
