Hi there,

Thankyou for joining the Adopt A Negotiator project, I am your tracker for the Bonn UN climate change talks, it’s a pleasure to meet you!

By joining this project you are taking a vital step to ensure that our government delivers a safe and just climate deal in Copenhagen. People, culture and ecosystems have a right to survive. That means THE WORLD HAS A DUTY TO ACT.

The past week has kept me super busy monitoring the UN climate change talks and tracking the behaviour of the Australian government delegation. My highlight of the week? Hearing that the Australian delegation are reading my blog, and the comments that people have left on it.

I believe the negotiators and governments of the world need to know who they’re accountable to. They are accountable to us, the people who live on this planet. That’s why I’m here in Bonn and writing this blog, I want you to know what’s going on during the talks and to fully understand what our negotiators are doing in our name.

So let’s work together and make the negotiators realise that they’re not negotiating in a bubble.

The world is watching them.

Please do follow my blogs and send me comments, pass this invite to your friends so that together we can make our voices heard for a safe climate future for all.

You can also track my blogs by joining A Climate For Change, a newly launched international social networking and news site focused on climate change.

I look forward to hearing from you.
