Dear Tracker friends,

The Copenhagen Climate Negotiations have entered their second and final week. It’s crunch time. But right now the negotiations seem to be on the brink of collapse because of the refusal of wealthy developed nations to take strong action.

This got me thinking, what would a good climate deal actually look like? In my latest blog I share with you the “essentials” as laid out by the international Climate Action Network. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I also want to take a moment to reflect and thank you all for your amazing work and support! Over the past week, you guys, as Negotiator Trackers, have sent thousands of letters to the Australian government, as well as leaving  comments, questions and demands on my blog posts. Let me tell you, your concerns are being heard! And then, on Saturday, more than 90,000 Walked Against warming in Australia, this made big news in Copenhagen and your support from across the seas warmed many hearts here in Denmark.

Your continuing support is necessary if we are to get a safe, fair and binding agreement in Copenhagen, please take a moment to visit our Australian Sister site, A Climate for Change and TAKE ACTION!

Tracking for you,

Phil, Cara and the whole Adopt A Negotiator team.
