Hi everyone,
If you have tried the new BOM website, you may have found like myself and many users, if the ABC is to believed, found it a frustrating experience. I honestly prefer the old site
It was so easy to navigate and find what you needed.
I can find the satellite image, but no maps or observations. It is intensely frustrating.
Cheers,
Gavin.

I gave the new sight some time spent at least two days trying to get stuff that I follow data radar and obs…the radar page was very basic tried to get individual radar sights…tried and tried…then went back to the old sight…not sure what the BOM will do with that site…the whole change has caused considerable annoyance with the public….Clyve

IT is appalling !

Everyone, write to the BoM – probably a waste of time

Write to your  local member  or directly  to Senator Murray Watt or the new Chief  Exec. Stuart Minchin

The more we point out  the wrongs, the better

I believe both Murray Watt and the QLD premier already have, or are about to have talks with the Bureau's CEO about the new website and if they come to fruition, there might be some changes to the site soon.

Ken.

Well said Gavin

They persist with the “lie” that they broadly consulted  before implementing. Do you know any one or any organisaion  that was consulted ?

And  reduced quality of radar information  is  a dreadful thing to do

Don

Hi Gav.

Excellent letter. I was actually talking to an old bloke this morning and he said exactly the same. Had I seen the BOM site, and he couldn't get anywhere either.

Hope your letter helps.

Regards Bussy
