Long hot spell in Sydney

Today Sydney recorded its 6^th consecutive day over 30 degrees, moving into 2^nd position  in the last 166 years.

Tomorrow, the BoM has forecast 30 degrees  so   we’ll see what happens.

 

Also the ave max temp so fat this month is 29.5 degrees, well ahead of the hottest ever December temp of 28.6 in 2005 and 2017.

However, with cooler weather coming  up over Christmas,  that might not stand.

Sydney has already  had its 2^nd hottest November (behind 2019)  and its hottest ever October  to finish off 2025.
