Extended Warm Weather in Sydney

Today (21^st April)  was  Sydney’s  187^th consecutive day with a top temp of 20 degrees or more.  The  last day below 20 was back on 15 October last year.

This is the longest such spell ever in Sydney

And Canberra has reached 20 on every day of April so far, something which has happened once previously (in 1980). The 1980 run ended on the 23^rd, the 2025 one should get at least to the 25^th, and possibly beyond.

 

(Canberra did have a sub-20 day in February and another in March).
