Hi all,
Here at Gilmore North well below average number of frost level temperatures recorded and few frosts.
May - no below zero Minimums, Lowest Minimum was 1.8 degrees on 22nd.
June - 4 mornings just below zero, lowest was -0.4 degrees on the 8th.
July up to 22nd - 5 mornings below zero, lowest so far -2.7 degrees on the 20th.
In the last few days, we have recorded three below zero mornings in a row, -2.4 (19th), -2.7 (20th) -1.3 (21st)
Barometric Pressure at 0900 has been very high since Autumn; Highest readings each month were; 1037.2 (12th May),1036.5 (25th June) and 1039.0(6th July). I am not sure, but that last reading is one of the highest I have ever recorded, at least in Canberra.
Appears a return to normal winter temperatures is one the way with a polar outbreak moving up from the Southern Ocean.
Cheers,
Gavin
