Significant dops in temps

Noticed that Terrey Hills (In  Sydney's north)  temp halved  today over 4 hours from  32 at 10.30 to just over 16 at 2.30 including obe drop of  12 degrees in 40 mins 
A little further north the temp at Lake Macquarie AWS fell 11.5 degrees in just 16 mins from 35.5 to 24. 
Don't you just love spring.
