November Women's Social

The Austin Ultimate community is always growing and fluctuating with people moving in, moving away, graduating, recovering from injuries, etc. You know what it's like being female in this frisbee world. Always being asked to play on 3 different teams, often times savage because there are never enough women to go around. Sometimes you just want a break. Maybe you just need to vent your frustrations in a safe space. Maybe you want a chance to slow down and get to know the other ladies of Austin Ultimate. Heck, maybe you even want to scout out some players before the Winter League draft! Whatever your reason, please consider joining us each month for a brief period of relaxed fun.

Regardless of the day of the week, Women's Socials will always be on the 3rd of every month to make it easy to remember. So fill in your calendar for the rest of the year! Each month we'll rotate venues to different parts of Austin. (future venue suggestions welcome.) We choose places appropriate for all ages, offering food in addition to drinks. To reflect that, we're changing the name from Happy Hour to Women's Social. Let's congregate, socialize, and get to know that person you may have seen on the field zipping by you, but can't remember their name.

This month, join us at one of my favorite Austin restaurants -  I LOVE their jicama shell tacos.
