H everyone

Sorry if you are seeing this in duplicate, I'm sending out to a couple of lists.

The Austin Technology Council is sponsoring a rave - sort of crowd-sourcing meets short form unconference, its a mainstream topic format BUT the leading topic is currently Matthew McCabe's short on Social Enterprise, another leading idea is about Green Biz. This is encouraging because the event is not about non-profits or social enterprise, per se, and the interest is coming from a diverse, tech savvy crowd.  There are also more mainstream techbiz-centric topics as well. Should be fun and informative, would love to see you there! Tues. Nov. 17 at Scholz'.

Check out the website and note that you have to register twice -once with the site to suggest and vote for topics, once with Eventbrite to attend.

Come for a night of educational presentations, informative discussions and drinks on ATC at the first Tech Rave! It’s not just a happy hour and it’s not just a boring seminar. With six rapid fire 15-minute presentation there will be no time for Q & A immediately following the presentation. The Q & A will begin after all the presentations are over and instead of addressing the entire group, the post-presentation discussions will be in a small group format. This way, you’ll be able to choose which group to be in, discuss the things most pertinent to your organization and gets specialized answers from the speakers.

Best to you all -
Kala
