I'm forwarding a bit of info today, but before I get to that - 

I haven't done a lot of posting to this list lately, but that doesn't mean you can't! Please feel free to email the list about volunteer events related to off-leash, questions about off-leash rules and etiquette, ideas for off-leash improvements, etc.

Ok, here's what I have to share today:

Applications being accepted for Off Leash Area Advisory Committee.

The Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting applications for four (4) positions on the Off-Leash Area Advisory Committee (OLAAC). Qualified candidates replace current committee members with expiring terms.

OLAAC is an eleven member panel of community volunteers who advise PARD on matters impacting the city’s off-leash areas (OLA). OLAAC committee members serve twoyear terms.

Finalist candidates will have an opportunity to attend an OLAAC informational overview, and meet OLAAC members. Finalist candidates will be notified by September 3, 2010, to attend the information overview, to be held September 8, 2010, 6PM, PARD Annex, 919 West 28 ½ street.
