A Little Information About our Project:

The funds you donate will be used to purchase a Solar Pump and Tank to water 150 native trees that we planted along the new trail and an Informational Kiosk that will be installed when Austin Parks and Recreation Department builds the new parking at the 1st street entrance, the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

All other aspects of the project have been completed in the past two years: tons of trash, furniture, and homeless camps removed, new 1.25 mile trail cut and mulch spread, entrance gate installed, mutt mitt station and garbage can installed, two creek crossings built, 150 native trees planted, 50 pounds of wildflower seed sowed, hundreds of invasive plants removed, fencing installed to separate model air field and off-leash trail, all thanks to hundreds of volunteer hours and 24 monthly work days.

With your help, this fundraising event will complete our project.

Thank you for supporting our Off Leash Area Project. Hope to see you there and have some fun after all of our hard work.

PS - Since our Friends group is not a 501c3, all donations are being given to Austin Parks Foundation to manage.  We submit receipts as we make purchases for the project. If you need the charitable tax ID for Austin Parks Foundation I will ask them to send it to you upon your request.

Cheers,
