1. Vote Libertarian, then come to the Election Night Party! November 8
From the Libertarian Party of Travis County:
“Election Night is finally upon us, and it’s time to celebrate with an Election Night Party. Join our local candidates, volunteers, and activists to unwind after a long campaign against the statist duopoly. We will learn from the results if
Mark Tippetts will take his oath of office in English or Spanish. Or if
Tom Kost and
Burton Culley will be able to dramatically enter the State House chamber on their motorcycles. Or if
Steven Haskett will land his plane on the Capitol grounds. Or if
Christopher David will lay down the law as Justice of the Peace. Or if
Bill Kelsey will become the Conscience of the U. S. Congress. Come join us for a fun celebration.”

2. Election Day info
LPTravis Chair (and
LP candidate for Texas House District 50) Ted Brown writes: “The Austin-area League of Women Voters guide is now available online. All but two of our candidates responded, and they gave great answers to the questions posed. This guide should be distributed far and wide, especially since it's so hard for voters to get information on down-ballot races.”
https://lwvaustin.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=334869&module_id=474680#gsc.tab=0 Election Day is November 8. Besides the many Libertarian candidates on the ballot, there are several major bond measures on the ballot. The Libertarian Party of Travis County endorses a NO vote on the following:

7. What is a libertarian?
Some say libertarians are "plotting to take over the world and leave you alone."
Some say libertarians are "plotting to take over the world and leave you alone."
David Boaz of the Cato Institute
has described libertarianism this way: "Don't hit other people. Don't take their stuff. Keep your promises."
In this 20-minute video, Mr. Boaz speaks on "
Introduction to Libertarian Thought."
"
The Libertarian Mind" is the subject of this 13.5-minute video from 2015 featuring several Cato scholars.
Take this short (10 question) online quiz from the Advocates for Self-Government to see if you might have libertarian leanings: “
The World’s Smallest Political Quiz.”
