2. Texas Gold events

From Judith Ruder:

Frontier Fourth Festivities at Pioneer Farms for Independence Weekend on July 2 & 3 @9-2 (to beat the heat) at Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms. Real-life cowboy reenactments by actors you may remember from movies & television of yesteryear and today, canons & hatchets, an old-time magic show, and much more. Read more here & here. Fun for the whole family!”

Dan Behrman’s Bringing the Blood of Tyrants to Austin on Thursday evening, July 7th! So plan on joining us for dinner & drinks, and maybe pick up a bottle or two — which garnered rave reviews at the LPNational Convention — and get it signed by Mr. Taxation Is Theft on the spot. He’ll have bottles on hand, but if you order now and bring it with you unopened he’ll still sign it. Each onsite sale (including those ordered ahead and brought to him) will come with a custom 3D token, as well. Entry is free, dinner & drinks are on you, and any funds raised from wine sales or donations will go toward one or more of the nonprofits Dan founded for forwarding liberty. Take a look at Blood of Tyrants, and stay tuned for further details.”

5. Empowering lessons for women leaders, June 30

From America’s Future, Texas Hub;

‘Nearly 150 years before the House of Representatives voted to pass the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote, Adams’ letter to her husband was a private first step in the fight for equal rights for women.

“Now, more than 100 years after the ratification of the 19th Amendment and 250 years since Adams’ letter, women are continuing the fight for equality in America.

“Join our panel of extraordinary women for a thought-provoking conversation on the progress made by women in America thus far and the path forward towards true equality.”

8. What is a libertarian?

Some say libertarians are "plotting to take over the world and leave you alone."

This 2-minute video from Learn Liberty tells "Free Will and Human Dignity: A Love Story."

"The Conversation" is a 13-minute dramatization from the Foundation for Harmony and Prosperity.

Read this short commentary from Leonard E. Read (written in 1955): "In an ideal America."

Take this short (10 question) online quiz from the Advocates for Self-Government to see if you might have libertarian leanings: “The World’s Smallest Political Quiz.
