2. Remembering Libertarian Garrett Foster

From Texas Gold, July 25:

“Today is the mournful anniversary of a tragic loss in Austin, Texas. Exactly 2 years ago to the day, a young man was shot dead during what was arguably a peaceful protest during the summer of 2020. He had been there for most of 30 days following the murder of George Floyd, the horror of which went viral with the aftermath being an eruption of protests nationwide, even worldwide. Not all was peaceful, not all protestors were of noble intent, but the night Garrett Foster was gunned down was, as he was…”

6. What is a libertarian?

Some say libertarians are "plotting to take over the world and leave you alone."

David Boaz of the Cato Institute has described libertarianism this way: "Don't hit other people. Don't take their stuff. Keep your promises."

In this 20-minute video, Mr. Boaz speaks on "Introduction to Libertarian Thought."

"The Libertarian Mind" is the subject of this 13.5-minute video from 2015 featuring several Cato scholars.

Take this short (10 question) online quiz from the Advocates for Self-Government to see if you might have libertarian leanings: “The World’s Smallest Political Quiz.
