LPTexas Secretary Candidates - Christy Ford & Anastasia Wilford

Both of the ladies mentioned above are seeking the LPTexas Secretary position. A brief bio and statement approved by each of the candidates is below in alphabetical order by last name.

Christy Ford

Christy Ford is running for the office of Secretary for the Libertarian Party of Texas. She has been active in LPTexas since 2015. Christy started out as a wife of a candidate block walking and assisting in his campaign. 

She became active in Harris County participating in various activities. This sparked her interest in the Libertarian Party and led her to search for ways to help LPTexas. Christy served on the 2020 Credentials Committee as Chair and learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about the convention process. 

She applied and became a member of the Affiliate Support team in 2021 and is currently serving as Infrastructure Development Coordinator. Christy served on the Credentials Committee in 2022 as Secretary and currently in 2024 as Chair. In 2022, she was elected Vice Chair of Harris County. 

Christy is beginning her second term as Vice Chair. She wants to take the knowledge she has gained of the years and use it to benefit LPTexas as its State Secretary. It would be her honor to serve LPTexas in this position.
