As we close out 2024, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and admiration for the hard work and dedication of our candidates, executive board, volunteers, and supporters. This election year has been a testament to our shared commitment to liberty, and every effort you've contributed—whether knocking on doors, faithfully attending conventions and engaging at meetings, or donating to help us spread our message of individual freedom—sends a powerful message to the community that there are those of us who can be relied upon to challenge the government's abuses.
Looking ahead to the 2025 Texas legislative session, we here in Travis County are uniquely positioned to continue being that beacon of rationality and stalwart defenders of liberty. Together, we can push for meaningful reforms, engage in harm reduction by opposing odious legislation, and support bills that expand personal and economic freedoms. We will not let them throw out speech and due process. We will fight against the top-down agendas in the classroom and the doctor's office so that actual teachers and doctors can be free to use their best judgement. We will champion bills that seek to return budget surpluses to the people where they belong. We will oppose detention camps and any collaboration with federal deportation programs that would inevitably ensnare law-abiding Texans in their dragnet.
To that end, as you spread the holiday cheer this year, I'm asking for your support of the LP Texas Legislative Action Fund. Your donation will help us show the people of Texas and the world that Libertarian principles are not negotiable and offer a better way forward.
Thank you for standing with us in this fight for liberty. Let’s carry our 2024 successes into 2025 with renewed energy and determination.
"The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance."
