Dear AKS Members,
It has been a pleasure to see you all and serve you all during 2012 and 2013 events. We are coming to the end of our 2 year journey with Austin Kannada Sangha and it is time to turn the page.
I am sure we have AKS members who will enjoy giving back to our community and taking AKS to newer heights. I would like to invite people who can passionately help Austin Kannada Sangha continue the journey that was started by “thankless people” years ago for a great cause.
We all care about Kannada language, rich culture from Karnataka and people who continue to enrich. Your voluntary effort will be treasured by our people.
Please volunteer and be part of the next AKS Executive Team by sending an email to pres...@austinkannadasangha.org to make a difference in our Austin Kannada Community by Oct 25th 2013.

We thank all AKS members for coming in large numbers and supporting us for the Deepavali/Rajyotsava event. We had more than 350 people and only this kind of support will make any event successful.
Special thanks to all volunteers, Emcees and participants who did a marvelous job. We also would like to thank all the sponsors who supported us and it was great to see many of them in the event.
We apologize for some of the technical difficulties which were beyond our control, but definitely it will be a learning experience. As always please send any feedback or suggestions preferably to feed...@austinkannadasangha.org.
We will be hosting a volunteer appreciation day soon. Time and Venue will be announced very shortly. We had planned to present the Treasury report and President's speech(as mentioned in the event trifold) during the Rajyotsava and Deepavali event on November 9th. Unfortunately, due to circumstances on that day, we were not able to present it at the event. We will be presenting both of them at the Volunteer Appreciation Day.
