Job Description - Sound Engineer needed for International Tour in February '09:
Want to travel the world for free and engineer sound for some of the most appreciative audiences on earth?
Latin Hip-Hop band, Los Bad Apples, is seeking a professional sound engineer to travel with them on their first international tour in February 2009. In addition to playing an integral role in this tour's success, you will also have the opportunity to appear in the documentary film Shooting for the Stars which will chronicle their adventure.
Details:
• Tentative tour dates: February 5th - 22nd (18 days total)
• Tour sponsor: Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) www.armedforcesentertainment.com
• Tentative itinerary: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Djibouti (all performances will occur on US bases)
• Compensation: approximately $1,350 + all travel, lodging and meals (and a once-in-a-lifetime experience!)
Sound engineer will be responsible for working with Los Bad Apples to select the appropriate sound equipment which will travel with the tour. Sound engineer will be responsible for the set-up of all equipment at each show (with band member's help when needed).
