Hello Friends and Supporters of Jean Claude and West African Drum and Dance  Communities in Austin, Tx and around the US......

This Sunday Afternoon, March 24th----

“A West African Rhythm and Music Extravaganza with a taste of CuMBiaReGGaeRuMBaWoRLDBeaTRooTS thrown in for good measure AND good dancing.”

Coming together are:  Lannaya, Aciable, Bramaya, Afrique Gniezi, The Djembabes and Huerta Culture!!!----- all performing on the same stage to help Jean Claude Lessou, longtime dance teacher and choreographer in Austin.

***Jean Claude has been giving of his talents for many years to West African Drum and Dance communities not only in Austin, but also in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio as well as  New York, Vermont, Florida and other places around the country.***

We’re hoping to raise enough funds to help Jean Claude make a very important trip home to West Africa to see his sick mother......his first trip home in 16 years!   We’re asking that you please give what you can to help out.  ALL donations, large or small, will help and will be very much appreciated.

We hope you can make it to this exciting showcase Sunday afternoon at Copa, 217 Congress Ave, Austin, Tx (on the east side between 2nd and 3rd Sts.) This will be an outdoor, family-friendly event so bring the kids and invite your friends.  The suggested donation at the door is $10.00.  If you can’t make the show, please take a minute to make your online donations to the “Jean Claude Lessou Fundraiser” PayPal account at:
