Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 85. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind between 5 and 15 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 85. South southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

does the race committee care a lot about if the boat has state registration stickers or not because my boat has none and I got in a lot of trouble on lake conroe with the game warden for having none.
And right now I cant get any because the Texas parks and wildlife office is beong very hard.

We would advise that you get your boat properly registered.  Until you do, you are going to have problems on all Texas lakes including Canyon.

What's the issue with Texas Parks & Wildlife?  Perhaps the fleet has experience in resolution of your issue...

Well right now they wouldnt accept a scanned copy of a document signed by the seller so I have to go meet the seller tonight to get him to fill ir out. But the main problem is that there is title for the boat and the previous owner has no title for the six years he owned it so he has to explain that on the proper documentation and in original hand writting. Hopefully I can get it done by tomorrow so I can go to the race. The only bad thing now is that I havent been able to practice at all because of this mess. So the only diginy experience im running on is 420 and laser racing.

I had a problem like that with my Nacra 5.2 but there was no way to establish ownership.  I got pulled over by TPWD and they asked me how long the boat was...  I said 5.2 meters and they said, well I guess I won't have to give you a ticket then...  Good thing they don't teach metric conversions properly in our schools :)

From your experience if the previous owner of mine didnt have a title for six years. Do you think they would not allow me to get registration unless I found the owner before him(if theyre still alive lol) to explain as well

Too bad you can't just pay a fee and get them to do it like you could in another country :)

You need tx numbers on Canyon.  Kenny and I got stopped during the race one year and were told to drop our sails because we did not have legible numbers. I started laughing but the warden disn't seem to think it was funny....we were fined. :(

I had to go through this a few years ago.  F&WD made me send certified letters to both previous owners that I knew of asking whether they had any financial interest in the boat and then allowing them 30 days to respond.  When the letters were returned undelivered, F&WD allowed me to apply for a title.  Call them – they can explain the process.
