Skippers for the BB/BS sailing event:

Thank you so much for dedicating your time, your boat, your crew and your interest in supporting this great annual event.

Schedule: AYC Guest code is: 4440. There will be an impromptu skipper's meeting at 9:00 at AYC top of North ramp. Windy Point will be set up for our use near the boat ramp for you from approximately 10:30 AM onward.  "Bigs" and "Littles" will be available in pairs for rides with you from then until we run out of interested pairs (usually about 2PM ish) at which time you may take the volunteer staff out at your discretion and we will continue to support you until 4PM at Windy Point.

Communication/Docking: We will use Marine Channel 78 for all communications with Skippers and Shore Team.  If you have a Marine radio and are monitoring channel 78, we will communicate with you by sail number to direct you to one of the two 5ft x 10ft floating docks to be anchored at Windy Point adjacent to the T-Head dock which will be identified as "Blue" (blue side facing up) and "White" (white side facing up).  These docks are provided for you if you have a Marine VHF radio set to channel 78 and will be positioned to allow you to come close to shore with your boards in the down position to load/unload passengers without having to raise your boards closer to shore.  If you do not have a Marine radio set to channel 78, please avoid using the floating docks as we will be directing traffic to them among the Skippers using their Marine radios on channel 78.  You may use the T-Head dock at the end of the boat ramp if you do not have/use a radio, consider it an "uncontrolled" dock.  Be advised that the tri-marans are also being directed to use the T-Head dock and use it for picking up and dropping off passengers, vs. extended mooring at the T-Head dock.

Party - We hope to see you at the party from 5:00 til 11:00 at AYC to share your experiences, photos, stories and reward you with a great feast, music and drinks prepared by Mike and his crew.

Gratitude - Thank you once again for your generous donation of time and resources for this incredible event.  As you may know, most of the kids mentored by the BB/BS do not have the means to be able to sail and this is the "thrill of a lifetime" for most if not all of them (Bigs included).  No amount of money can buy the experience or feeling you will receive in exchange for your gift of sailing to the participants and volunteers for this event."

Best regards,
