Hello all!
Please join us for the Libertarian Party of Travis County monthly meeting and happy hour social on September 8, 2025.
For this meeting, there will be a discussion about the
17 amendments to the Texas Constitution that will be presented to voters in the November election. This is usually a low turnout election. It's important for Libertarians to know what these proposals are and what the Libertarian position on them should be.
This is also a good time to meet with fellow Libertarians and like-minded individuals. We look forward to seeing you.

CAMPAIGN 2026 COMING UP SOONWhile the 2026 election is 14 months away, the filing deadline in Texas is the earliest in the country:
December 8, 2025. Anyone who is interested in running as a Libertarian candidate in 2026 should decide soon about doing so. There are a lot of positions open at present. We need candidates for statewide offices like Governor and Attorney General, U. S. Congressional seats (lots of new districts to pick from), state legislative seats, and county offices like County Judge.
Please contact Ted Brown at
(626) 429-1661 or
tbr...@lptexas.org if you want to discuss the possibility of running and what is involved in doing so.
