Experience: Commonwealth Edison (IL electric utility) Electrical Engineer, 9/91 to present
work experience at several nuclear and fossil generating stations. Extensive electrical construction testing
(testing of new installations and modifications). Testing of Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, TI, Bailey, Foxboro PLCs/DCSs.
Extensive useage of electrical test equipment (flukes, scopes, doble kits, meggers, phase shifters/angle meters etc.)
Equipment tested: motors, motor controls, generators (steam, diesel), breakers, transformers, transmission equipment
(breakers, disconnects, etc)
Computer abilities: software (Wordperfect, Excel, Access, etc) hardware (pc network setup, installing hard drives,
SIMMs, CD ROMs, tape backup drives, printers, etc)
Training: PLC programming, PC repair, Laser printer repair, blueprint reading, 3 phase power and relaying
Education: BSEET degree, June 1990, DeVry Institute of Technology
3.50/4.0 GPA, ACADEMIC FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIP
Seeking a position preferrably working with PLCs (travel ok)
Currently located 45 minutes from Chicago, but would like to relocate somewhere warm
(Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, Vegas, etc.)
