I'm still to check out AltaVista's, whose price is about right: FREE!

Has anybody check it out? I'm wondering whether it's for web access
only or it also has POP, SMTP and NNTP servers...

I am using Netfree and it is also free. No news access though.

Ten bucks a month isn't bad, but gree is better. I use Freewwweb and
Netzero, both of which provide totally free unlimited access. There's
another one, too, called freeInet, I think.

These IPS's are not perfect -- freewwweb is sometimes slow, and netzero
requires an always-on-top banner ad, but, still, they are free, and they doo
work.

Couldn't comment on the service, but there is a $29.50 one-time start up fee
as well.
