Any suggestions for local sources for used inexpensive but dependable
laptops. A family friend (51) is being assigned to a couple of years
in Afganistan and this might be useful for communicating back home.
I've mentioned Dr. Laptop but really don't have any experience with
the refurb/used market.

I used Mr. Notebook as well....
Bought a used laptop 4 years ago.
Still works (although the screen is degrading)
What do you mean by inexpensive?
New is getting pretty cheap.....
