Anybody have any ideas as to how to get rid of grapevine? I have a stump
growing thru my chainlink fence that I have tried several products and
it keeps growing back. \:-{ Thanks in advance.

In article <4lquho$r...@geraldo.cc.utexas.edu>,

Well if you go to the source, like the roots and cut them out, that
should do it, or just mow it down once a week, by the end of the summer,
it should be quite dead and have no reserves to restore itself.

ON THE OTHER HAND, be glad you have it and try to use it, I assume it's
a native/muscadine grape. You can use those grapes, or graft some of the
more desirable varieties onto it. Course, I'm into grapes and I'm planting
new one each year, so I'm biased.
