Greetings -

My name is Robert Chapman, and I am an Austin-area pencil portrait
artist hoping to someday make a living doing what I truly love to do.

I work from photographs, and I work in black-and-white. I have a site of

my work, located at http://users3.ev1.net/~portraitart. Please take a
look at my work and let me know what you think, and if I can be of
service to you.

My prices start at $100 for an 8 x 10" portrait, and a portrait of one
person (or pet) usually takes about a week.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Regards,
Robert

Damn mike, that's cold! Stone cold!
I wish I could draw like this guy!
The only thing I know how to draw is flies.

I'm easily impressed by people that can draw. I run into allot of 'oil
painters' in my business and most of their shit looks like something I could
do as a goof.

But, I am curious as to why this guy drew his mother as having a nasty fang
hanging out on one side of her mouth. Even if she does look like that, cut
yer mom a break and don't put it in the picture for christssake!
If one of your female clients has a bit of a mustache, would you put that
in?
Some aspects of photorealism could get your ass kicked.

Robert,

I think that your drawings are great. I wish that I had that talent.

Cass
