DirecTV crooks thought they'd get away with it

What's bizarre is that DirecTV apparently thought they could get away with
it. They must have thought that all of their victims would believe their
lies that having smart card programming hardware was illegal and that none
of their victims would call the cops to report the extortion. They must
be relying upon people not contacting an attorney on the mistaken belief
that DirecTV was telling the truth about smart card programmers some how
being illegal to own.

Move over, Scientology: There's a company that's even worse than you are.
