Good find Jacqueline - after thinking about this last night - here are
a couple thoughts that I hope we can discuss:
1. there will always be conflicts - do we decide each month if another
event has a higher visibility than the ATM and therefore move the date
or just stick with the x of the month and go from there?
2. I believe Joshua said he was interested in helping promote the ATM
- I am wondering if Sept 7th would actually be a great day to start -
we could offer one of his startups a slot at the meetup, and I know he
brings in people from other locations for the demo day and I am sure
we could get some of those people to attend the ATM and spread the
word - perhaps one of those people (say Dave McClure) could be the
first presenter?
We could even see about tying in our networking slot with theirs -
could be great for both groups as startups want visibility which the
demo day attendees can provide and demo day companies want visibility
which the ATM could provide as well.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Allen
