Cafe Meetup 8/14: Positivity and Praise, Part 3

Since it's been over a year, and appreciating the insights of Why Our Kind Can't Cooperate, we'll take some time to share praise for each other. What do you appreciate about the other attendees?

"Wait, that's not really pursuit of truth, is it? Since we're just saying nice things? What about the bad stuff?"

Correct! But the things you don't like already get attention; in contrast, the positive stuff may be forgotten about, even when deserved. This is your chance to correct that bias and make sure the positive feedback is also received.

We will go around and give each person a chance to praise the other attendees as they see fit. You will probably remember more as time goes by.

Also be thinking about when and where you want to have the big SSC meetup.

The meetup is at Central Market, 4001 N. Lamar, in the cafe area. Look for the LW and SSC signs. People start arriving at 1:30 pm, and the main activity will begin at 2:30 pm. In light of the recent developments about Covid cases in Austin please follow store guidance on masks.
