The whole event was FREE (Snap On Deep Pockets)  +250 cars showed up race, Bracket Style with Sportman Tree,
64 cars were in my Pure Street Class.  The weather was 75 Degrees, 88% Humidy and Density Altitude was 2400 ft.
1 qualifying run + 7 elimination runs to Finals.    1 guy Redlighted and 1 "Broke Out."   Learned a lot, this was my 1st Bracket Race.

I placed 2nd, lost the Finals by .05 seconds (10ft) MOV (margin of victory)

Jake Simmons shot all runs in 2 mins http://youtu.be/YZm-AbpeyGk

Nice work Ted. Why do they start the cars at different times?

Bracket Racing is to trying to make the cars cross the finish line at the same time according to their Dial-In time.  Evening the race, no matter what kind of car you are driving.  So the Reaction Time  and the Consistency of the car becomes the most important thing in this type of racing.

This was great PR for the GT-R, bout half the people didn't know anything bout our cars, and 100% were thoroughly impressed.
Especially when I told them it was my everyday driver.

And watching someone take off 2 to 3 seconds ahead of you and waiting for your light is one of the hardest things for me.  The first 2 races, it really messed with my head.  I was thinking of putting cardboard over pass window, like blinders on a horse.
Makes you want to jump the light.

That's cool. Congrats dude! I would totally get messed up watching them take off too. Ran 181mph at Texas Mile...fastest I've ever been in the gtr. Felt rock solid, just like I was going 80mph on the freeway.  Checked my logs afterward and everything looked good too. Nissan built a beast.

That's awesome, great run.  I will go to the Houston Mile, if and when they ever work things out.
