With the switch to a new job, I allowed my participation in Austin Functional
Programmers to attenuate. Yesterday, a new Erlang-focused meetup kicked off
[1]. I don't know much about Erlang at all, so I went and had a good time.
The group is less academic, and much more interested in breaking out a REPL and
exploring the language, which suits me fine.
I just wrote a message to the Erlang Austin board about my thoughts of getting
us all more grouped together under one umbrella [2].
Sorry about vanishing on you guys. I've certainly been keeping up with the
topic on the side. On that note, have you guys been reading Bob Harper's blog.
It can be inflammatory, but I've been enjoying it.
