Hello all,
This week, we'll be covering:
- Ch. 14 - p. 378 - 396 (Unifying an Elephant onwards)
- Ch. 15 - p. 397 - 422 (up to Cohesive Mechanisms)
Last time, we voted to skim the last part of Ch. 14, so we won't spend too much time on it. These are the more neglected parts of the DDD book, covering large-scale structure and other things Greg Young likes to annoy other people about. Much like the rest of the book, it's packed with material I wish I had known 4 years ago.
REMINDER:
We're no longer meeting at Drilling Info. Don't show up there, you'll probably have to help them move if you do. Dovetail Software has graciously agreed to host the remainder of our book club meetings. Our new location is:
4807 Spicewood Springs Rd
Bldg 4 Suite 200
Austin, TX 78759
The Google Calender has been updated with the new location.
See everyone there!
Jimmy
