As part of the
2016 Mobility Bond, Austin Transportation and Austin Public Works are evaluating Far West Boulevard, North Hills Drive, Northledge Drive and Hart Lane near Doss Elementary and Murchison Middle Schools for mobility
and safety improvements. To practice safe physical distancing, the project team is hosting a virtual open house to collect input from the community on the project proposal.
Browse the open house online at
AustinTexas.gov/FarWestNorthHills. An illustrated map of the proposed changes and a survey to leave feedback on the proposal are included in the virtual open house. The open house is available 24 hours a day, 7
days a week beginning today, May 24, through Friday, June 25.
The proposed changes are anticipated to improve safety for everyone who uses these streets and enhance connectivity between destinations around northwest Austin. Funding for this project is available from the District 10 Quarter Cent fund and the
2016 Mobility Bond Bikeways and Safe Routes to School programs.
