I'm wondering if anyone here can tell me more about the proposed bridge over Middle Harbour at Sugarloaf Point, Castlecrag, which was to form part of the Warringah Expressway.  The 1960-61 DMR annual report mentions that a report was received from "a British firm of consultants", but without the name of the firm I haven't been able to find the report anywhere.  In the same annual report there is also an artist's impression of the bridge.  The things I want to find out are how long each span of the bridge was going to be (which would also tell me the total length of the bridge), and also how wide and how high it was going to be.

I had a quick look online and there wasn't much at all, perhaps there's information buried in some obscure place or in later DMR publications. I actually read that annual report very recently actually and I thought the artist's impression was impressive. I was amused when people were talking about how complex the Rozelle interchange is when every time I try to understand the Warringah Freeway and all its ramps and carriageways it just makes my brain hurt.
