Hi all,

Planning for the northerly extension of Camden Bypass to meet Camden Valley Way has commenced.
It appears to be an overpass at most likely Narellan Rd.
I would like to see it grade-separated when it connects with Camden Valley Way bypassing the current intersection with Smeaton Grange Rd.

Thanks,
Henry

Camden Bypass was always designed to connect with Camden Valley Way (which was the original Hume Highway) but was never constructed and I think pre-dates the final F5 design alignment. The partial interchange at Narellan Road was put in as an interim connection for Hume Hwy traffic to/from Camden Bypass when Narellan Road carried Hume Highway traffic between 1974 and 1980 and before the Campbelltown-Yanderra section of the F5 was completed.
