Two new distance signs in SEQ

Hi all,

 

Sign replacements aren’t that frequent (outside of new road construction) in South East QLD but here are two new distance signs that have popped up in the last few months.

 

The Darwin reference is a nice gimmick – would be more worthwhile if the remote focal was maintained over the whole length of the M2/A2 corridor. Once leaving the Ipswich region, it isn’t mentioned again until Mt Isa!

They're quite nice designs for QLD signs. I do wish someone working on Trasicad would put rounded corners on the road name patch template.
