I like the raising of the last two and probably have to agree with the lowering to 100 around the M7.

I thought the changes around the old toll plaza (Stubbs Street overpass and Parramatta Road) was changed to 90km/h after the completion of the realignment work about 6 weeks ago? I drove from Prospect Highway to the end of the M4 couple of weeks back and noticed the speed limit went from 100 to 90 until the end of the M4.

Also isn't the LGA around Stubbs Street and Parramatta Road belong to Auburn and Parramatta respectively?

Yeh it makes real sense to make the 70 zone 90 where you have a short on-ramp and slow cars that stop you from going 90, compare to the very long M7 merge and being able to easily do 110 in that section.

Agree with that too.

Yeah me too. Despite, remembering that I would be hanging for 110 after going so slow on freeway conditions for so long prior to that

That Concord Road onramp should be closed. That’ll force drivers to use the right turn lane more and stop blocking the left lane on Leicester Ave heading north! :p

Yeah I think they’re formalising the former toll plaza speed limit.

However I’ve been very frustrated recently with d!ckhead drivers doing far less than 90 in the westbound right lane (who are probably on the phone and/or are too incompetent to move into the left lane!) between Parramatta Rd and Homebush Bay Drive leg of the M4. Coupled with more d!ckhead drivers doing far less than 90 in the left lane, that leaves a very frustrating crawl L L L

None of that will be solved, many times just outside of peak times I've seen congestion around the former toll plaza westbound and from the start of the flyover eastbound due to both (eastbound and westbound) bottlenecks from James Ruse Dr onramps. Until they fix that one, those congestion spots will remain and the d--kheads.
