I've modified the font file so that there are lower case letters. Hooray!Unfortunately, it doesn't match the Australian Standard precisely and Trasicad doesn't seem to like letters like p, j and y. They get cut off. I think it's good enough for making sign mock ups, but I'd still love to get my hands on the real thing. Anyway, from what I discovered, the Australian Standard font's height and width are 1.74x larger than the other fonts available.

If the font file is modified, it can quite possibly work, but I can't get my head around font editing programs. You should also try out some of the other Highway Gothic fonts.

These might all help - they seem to be official FHWA fonts, but are about half the size of the Australian Standard fonts when you look at them through a text viewer.
Hmm.. unfortunately it gives me this error whenever I start a new sign:
Can anyone help? L I’ve already installed the AS1744 font provided by mubd1234! L
Thanks
Ooooh thank you mubd1234!!! J

No worries - you just have to change the font settings in Trasicad.
Go to Tools > Options...
Click the "New Signs" tab
Then, you have to modify all of the default fonts for each sign type, selecting the AS1744 font (which should be just below Arial).

If the RMS was only willing to scrap that left lane turning right on to the M4 at Concord….and have a proper sign for it!

No worries.
Here's something that shows off quite a few things you can do with the program.
