Hey guys,

Thought I'd post some road dates I've found recently, as I've collected a decent list in the last six months. TMR and RMS have helped with several of these dates, and quite often they've been very happy and quite helpful with their responses. Haven't been able to do much plaque hunting due to time and money constraints so I've been scouring the net to collect together everything I can. Here's the Queensland ones;

About 2 months ago I signed up for a National Library card (something I clearly should've done years ago!), and since I received it I've been using their online resources to the extreme. As a result of this I've collected together quite a lot of road dates in a rather short time, and also through using the Queensland State Archives I've found a fair bit in there. There's some New South Wales ones in here, but for me the availability of so many dates for Queensland roads was unprecedented and quite a shock really. Not to mention the Queensland Roads journals now being online for easy viewing.

Due to the size of the list I've put it all into a .txt file. As per usual feel free to use the dates as you wish :)

On another note, I'll be travelling down via car to Wollongong next Friday, so I'll do my best to take some new photos of all the amazing work being done along the way wherever I can.

Looking forward to seeing some photos of the new bits of the highway - from memory Nambucca to Raleigh and Frederickton to Eungai are open, as well as Sancrox interchange.

No problem, I know how difficult Queensland road dates are to come by :)

The tiny Pimlico to Teven upgrade is also open (not that that one's anything special really). Going to attempt to grab photos of any plaques I see too before they all get nicked or removed.
