Old Sign In Sydney

Saw this old sign in Sydney. Any thoughts on how old it would be? And what "D.R.T." at the top would mean?

D.R.T was Department of Road Transport, a predecessor to the Department of Main Roads.

Thanks for that. Looks like DRTT was abolished in 1952, so that sign must be at least 70+ years old.
