There's a bit of empty space around the GWH/Parker St intersection so hopefully they take advantage of it and make it a large intersection, maybe grade seperation.

James Ruse Drive / Windsor Road and Pennant Hills Roads intersections need work, they are very underbuilt because there's been no upgrade since the "freeway" section was opened in the 80s.

Hume Motorway being 3 lanes each way to at least Picton Road has been discussed before, so fingers crossed

Unfortunately no New Line Road upgrade for Hills District...

Preferred design released for a grade separated interchange to replace the Newcastle Link Rd - Minmi Rd roundabout. I'm surprised they didn't just go with traffic lights and it's a good sign that the Cameron Park lights may be turned into an interchange at some stage down the track.

This is good news. It only leaves one pesky roundabout left at Transfield Ave on a 90km speed limit road.

The rezoning of the bushland to residential appears imminent, so the dead-end Transfield Ave roundabout might actually be connected soon, which of course would immediately become a bottleneck. Both it and the Minmi Rd roundabout were partly paved over to allow wind turbine movements to drive over them.
