Just curious if there is still any halogen traffic lights in NSW or have all of them have been replaced with LED models.

Davis made mention a little while ago of a $20-$25 million allocation in the state budget to swap out the last of the halogen signals in NSW.

The last halogen set I can recall seeing in use was on the corner of the Great Western Highway & Littlebourne Street in Kelso prior to the GWH upgrade, and that would have been around 2015/2016. The ACT still had a few halogen signals rattling around when I was there last year.

Cheers,
Vincent.

Everything has been replaced, though you will still find the odd incandescent signal (such as Marulan weighbridge) or Halogen signal on opening bridges etc, though even the latter is not that likely now either. There's still a few locations in the ACT using Halogen signals.

Yeah the Traffic Signals empire within TfNSW/RMS/RTA even managed to get political support behind and therefore money for their new project to revisit thousands more intersections yet again -- adding red turn signals to all intersections so red arrows appear when the conflicting pedestrian signal is green.

From memory there was a set at Sydney Airport outside T2 as of a few months ago

I can confirm. It’s at the Domestic side, next to the big Taxi rank.

Possibly owned by the airport corporation rather than RMS?

Sorry for the late response, but the signals approaching the M5 tunnel are halogen! https://www.google.com.au/maps/@-33.9359498,151.1106463,3a,15y,104.31h,88.55t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sUTRFbZxAggR0GCikCVghNQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192 they must have been overlooked.
