Great and much needed to ease congestion. should be an easy and quick build given the road reserve to the west and pre construction has been going on for some years waiting for the construction funding

This project looks to have stalled. It was a pre election promise to get it underway after being dormant for some years. They made some design changes in late 2019 and now are doing utility works with no start date of major construction.

Here is the article stating it would get underway before 2019 https://www.nsw.gov.au/media-releases/300-million-boost-to-western-sydney-road-upgrades

Keen for this. I still think Prospect Hwy needs an A route between the M4 and M2 however

I also would like to see construction of the missing link between the 2 sections, then there would be a slight better chance of getting an A-route.

Construction of the overpass over the M4 has started for this. I'll check the Great Western Highway in a couple of weeks when it's school holidays.
