Jacinta Allan displays utter contempt to parents

 Kirralie Smith  October 21, 2025

Victorian premier Jacinta Allan displays nothing but contempt toward parents in her state grappling with gender distressed children.

She refuses to meet with advocacy group Parents of Adolescents with Gender Distress and says she will not speak with anyone who says “hurtful” things. During a press conference she said words matter yet has no issue redefining words like “woman” to include men.

Asked whether her government had a problem with stakeholders it disagreed with, Ms Allan said: “I take issue with those who say harmful things – and words matter, particularly when it comes to young people who are working through what is a really challenging time as they are understanding their identity, their gender, and are looking for support.

“They deserve our support, and we’ll continue to provide that support – whether it’s in schools or hospitals or in other areas,” the Premier said.

PAGD’s spokeswoman, whom The Australian has chosen not to name to protect her child’s privacy, said Ms Allan could not claim she stood alongside all Victorians “while steadfastly refusing to engage with a group of concerned parents who she is now very well aware of”’.

“Our invitation to have a respectful conversation with Jacinta Allan or Ben Carroll remains open,” she said on Monday.

“We absolutely agree with Premier Allan that our children deserve a safe and secure environment. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss our experience of failures to uphold the Child Safe Standards that require parents to participate in decisions affecting the wellbeing of their children.

“Our experience is that current school policy is not, in fact, keeping our children safe, but is placing them at risk.”

Gender identity ideology is based on the lie a child was born in the wrong body and if they just took extremely harmful and experimental drugs they could mimic the opposite sex and their lives would be dandy.

The harm done by chemical castration drugs also known as puberty blockers is lifelong and irreversible. It is beyond cruel that the Premier refuses to engage with the facts and those families being directly impacted by the cruel lies being fed to them at school and in the health industry, all sanctioned by the government.

David Limbrick, Libertarian state MP says he did meet with the parents and found they were knowledgeable and justifiably concerned.

“The Premier might have a problem with people who say harmful things, but I take issue with people who do harmful things, like overseeing a government that allows kids to be socially transitioned in secret,” Mr Limbrick said.

“In my experience, the parents in PAGD are typically mild-mannered, well-educated middle-class people who have no problem with the sexuality of their children.

“Government policy without any scientific basis has caused immeasurable damage to their families. The gender ideologues in her department know that if she had a single meeting with them, the game would be up. No wonder they are protecting her.”

Liberal MP Moira Deeming also weighed in, accusing Labor of hiding the irreversible harm.

“Labor have admitted they’re running undocumented psychosocial gender transitions on vulnerable children behind their parents backs at school,” Mrs Deeming said.

“And they know full well it’s harming kids and destroying families, because otherwise they’d have supported my motion forcing schools to keep proper records of these ‘social transitions’ – including which adults authorised them, on what basis, and why parents were disobeyed or lied to.

“The real issue doing the most harm is that Labor has destroyed parental rights in Victoria and made every single child less safe.”
