Victorian Disability Awards Website

Good morning,

Organisations supporting Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ communities are invited to apply for the 2025–26 LGBTIQA+ Organisational Development program.

These grants will support organisations to be more equitable, inclusive and accessible and building safer, stronger and sustainable LGBTIQA+ communities.

Funding will be allocated across two streams, with a total funding pool of $400,000 available:

  • Established organisations and those with demonstrated experience supporting LGBTIQA communities can apply for grants of up to $40,000
  • Newer organisations or groups in the early stages of their work can apply for grants of up to $20,000.

Since 2016, the program has helped more than 110 groups and organisations to further develop their operations and expertise to work with LGBTIQA+ communities.

Applications are now open and close at 5pm on Tuesday, 31 March 2026.

Information sessions

To help you prepare your application, DFFH will host three online information sessions:

  • Session 1: Wednesday, 4 March at 5.30pm - general information
  • Session 2: Wednesday, 11 March at 5pm (information to support unincorporated community groups and organisations to apply with an auspice)
  • Session 3: Thursday, 12 March at 5.30pm - general information

Please register at LGBTIQA+ Organisational Development program website

The Victorian Government is proud to fund this program as part of its broader efforts to embed equality in Victoria through our 10-year LGBTIQA+ strategy, Pride in our Future: Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022-32

Please share this funding opportunity with your contacts and through your channels to reach as many of Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ communities as possible.

If you have any queries about the program, contact equalit...@dffh.vic.gov.au.

Yours sincerely,

Victoria State Government Families, Fairness and Housing
