A far-right, divisive and hate-fuelled political movement is growing in Australia. This coalition is desperate to wind back the Sex Discrimination Act (SDA) by removing discrimination protections for trans women - protections that the court determined were legally owed to Ms Tickle.
We can’t risk them winning. So we’re getting to work to safeguard the SDA with a rapid response strategic advocacy campaign, in collaboration with our sector partners. With enough support, we can launch open letters, op eds, media stories, and powerful digital content to ensure this threat to human rights is decisively shut down.
