Dr Jillian Spencer manhandled at conference
Dr Jillian Spencer has been manhandled and escorted out of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists conference in Melbourne.
The suspended senior psychiatrist who has worked at Queensland's Children’s hospital merely held up a sign that read, “RANZCP kicked out Dr Amos. Why?” She held the sign and silently walked the aisle.
As a result a security guard requested she leave, when she refused he pushed her to the ground and dragged her out of the event in front of a thousand other psychiatrists.
Dr Andrew Amos and Dr Jillian Spencer have both been treated appallingly by the RANZCP and APRHA for questioning the use of chemical castration drugs (puberty blockers) on gender distressed youth.
AusDoc, an Australian medical website posted about the event and claimed Dr Spencer “fell down.”
In response Dr Spencer corrected the article stating,
I didn’t ‘fall down while being escorted’. I was pushed over by a security guard after I remained silently standing after he asked me to leave. Once I was on the ground, he physically dragged me down the stairs. 1000 psychiatrists watching did nothing.
She later posted her signed statement to the police that reiterated the assault by the security guard. The images are posted below.
It is important to note that initially, the RANZCP claimed she was expelled from the conference for “advertising”. Later, they said she was “disrespectful”. Meanwhile, attendees had rainbow flags shoved down their throats without their consent.
It is appalling that peak medical bodies in Australia refuse to study or even debate the clear and unarguable data from overseas that proves the irreversible harm being done to gender distressed youth. Instead of ensuring gold-standard care for vulnerable youth, they are going out of their way to threaten legal action and take whatever steps they can to gaslight and silence concerned medical practitioners.
