QLife Peer Support Service
QLife provides free, anonymous peer support and referral for LGBTIQ+SB people across Australia. Services are delivered in partnership with four state-based, community-controlled organisations and coordinated by LGBTIQ+ Health Australia (LHA).

About The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and strategic QLife Program Manager to oversee the operational coordination of QLife’s national service. This role is responsible for ensuring service consistency, strengthening operational frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement across the QLife network.

What you will do
- Lead the QLife National Operational Leadership Group to ensure national consistency and collaboration.
- Oversee operational systems, frameworks, and documentation aligned with the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards.
- Support accreditation, risk management, and governance reporting in collaboration with the QLife Director and Practice & Quality Improvement Lead.
- Monitor and improve caller and webchat answer rates, ensuring service efficiency and responsiveness.
- Oversee QLife's technical infrastructure with support from the Data and Technical Coordinator (e.g. iCarol, Genesys, Moodle, telephony) to support service delivery and training.
- Lead the intake and resolution of service user complaints, ensuring feedback informs continuous improvement.
- Build strong relationships with partner organisations and sector stakeholders to enhance collaboration and capacity.
- Participate in the rotating out-of-hours on-call roster to support urgent service disruptions.
What are we looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced operational leader who brings the following skills and attributes:
- Experienced: At least 5 years’ experience in leading operations, service, or program management, ideally within teleweb, peer-based, or digital mental health services.
- Strategic: Proven ability to manage complex systems, lead multi-site coordination, and deliver service improvements.
- Collaborative: Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship-building across diverse teams and organisations.
- Culturally Responsive: Deep understanding of LGBTIQ+SB health and wellbeing, including the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Analytical: Strong data analysis and reporting skills to support service monitoring and governance.
- Organised: Excellent project management and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with digital platforms and tools that support online service delivery.
